Release dato fastsat!

Den 1. februar 2012 er der release på Karen Mukupas nye album. Et afrocentrisk og soulet, hiphoppende album lavet i samarbejde med bl.a. Refuu, Silver Bullet Productions og Heartbeat Productions og med tekster både på engelsk og på kiswahili og features af Mzungu Kichaa og Nappion.

I oktober 2011 deltog Karen på WOMEX med et par showcases. Blandt publikum var en af Canadas mest velansete bookere indenfor Folk og world musik, Bob Jensen. Han sagde til en journalist på DRs P1:
'She was fantastic. She seemed to me to have tremendous potential as a popular artist to go beyond Denmark and Europe. What she did was so catchy. And the audience-response was so heartfelt, that I could easily see her with a major record-deal with videos and all those things. So that was interesting for me as a professional booker.'
